MemBlob Object

Class for storing data in memory.

FromArrayImports the contents of a byte array into the Blob.
FromBase64Imports base64 encoded data into the Blob.
FromFileImports contents into the Blob from a file.
FromHexImports hex encoded data into the Blob.
FromStreamImports contents into the blob from the IStream.
ToArrayReturns content of the Blob in a byte array.
ToBase64Returns content of the Blob base64 encoded.
ToFileDumps the contents of the Blob into a file.
ToHexReturns content of the blob hex encoded.
ToIntReturns content of the blob as long integer value.
ToStreamDumps contents of the blob to an IStream.
TextHolds the text contents of the Blob.


The MemBlob object stores any type and size of data in memory. Using the provided methods, such as ToHex, ToBase64 etc.. you can convert this data into almost any format you need, ready for transporting to other parties.

You should use MemBlob when you have smaller amounts of data to be encrypted/decrypted. The definition of 'smaller amounts' depends on your application - it can even be a few megabytes, but conversions to/from string may be time a consuming process in this case.
