Control characters / Redhat 7.1 (General questions)
by Carlos Lima, Friday, November 26, 2004, 15:11 (7103 days ago)
When connected to RedHat 7.1 through Telnet protocol, some commands like ls -la comes with a kind of control characters (I think is a color code). How do I eliminate this codes ?
Thanks.

Carlos,
yes, redhat is known for sending ANSI codes. You can use StripANSI = True to get rid of them, and you can also try to set TerminalType = dumb or tty , hopefully that will help.
Regards.
