I'm working with the outbound proxy feature (where the SSH connection uses a proxy, not the cool feature where the SSH connection IS the proxy!) and I ran into a problem with the Microsoft ISA firewall. It uses NTLM authentication by default for its web and SOCKS4 proxies. You can configure it to use plain text, but try to get a firewall admin to allow that one!
Is there any way add NTLM authentication to the proxy code that you use?
