Hello,

I am in the process of building an application using your SFTP DLL component. I have everything working correctly on my own development machine. However, when I build the exe file, then create my installation package (including the .dll file), the end user is getting the following error message:

You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality

Then when they click OK, the application closes.


Here is a sample of my the beginning of my form_load() function:

Private Sub Form_Load()
Set sftp = New wodSFTPCom
sftp.LicenseKey = XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX


Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Jonathan,

you're doing all correctly, from what I can see. You do use License Key exactly as you have receive it - key sensitive, right? Do you recompile your app with licensed DLL? Do you distribute same DLL?

Can you send me screenshot of that message (nag screen) you get to our techsupport email?
