Ok, can yuo please do one more check? Can you check version number of C:Windowssystem32wodUpdSv.exe ? What does it contain?
It should be the same as your AppUpdate version.
Also, can you try settings it inside your code, something like:
wodAppUpdate1.UpdaterName := 'someName';
