Incompatiblity with CA Personal Firewall (General questions)

We are having a problem with a customer who uses the CA Internet Security Suite. If the Firewall is active the updater appears to down load ok but the temporary download file is never created and the NewPath method returns an empty string instead of the temporary file location. I have downloaded the trial version of CA Internet Security Suite and played with the setting but I can't find anyway to get the updater to work except by disabling the firewall completely.

I am currently using v1.1.3.34

Hi MGN,

I've just installed the CA Personal Firewall, and with the default settings everything worked like a charm.

I was testing with the latest version of the component and our sample which comes with the component.

Could you try the same?

Thanks, upgrading to v1.2.3 has fixed the problem. I will set the updater up to deploy the new v1.2.3 DLL to my users.
