seems that Putty has a workaround for devices that respond as 'Cisco-1.25', I just checked it source.
Can you send email to techsupport@weonlydo.com, and I'll reply with our fix that I hope will have same workaround. Since this will be blind fix (I cannot test it), I hope it will work, but you will have to try it for me.
