wodFtpDLX.NET: Server signature does not match (wodFtpDLX / wodFtpDLX.NET)

Hello, we have been using wodFtpDLX.NET 1.9.7.292 (using .Net Framework) and we are planning to upgrade to the latest 1.9.9.296

In early testing to our test SFTP server we notice the .Connect function throws an error: Server signature does not match

Is this an expected change in behaviour from previous versions?

If this is due to a cached SFTP server signature/host key, is there a way to clear this?

Does this happen always or sometimes with same server? Did you notice it with some specific server, or all of them in general?

Any chance we can connect there so we can see 'under the hood' why it happens?

Of course, you must try with the latest version - perhaps issue goes away, but even if it doesn't, we will fix the issue based on latest version.

To clarify, 1.9.7 is fine for us. We have issues with 1.9.9.

It seems to affect all of our internal SFTP servers that I have tried, though I did find an external SFTP server which does not show the same behaviour.

Potentially it may be related to something in our SFTP server software.

I will email your techsupport address with a host you can test against.

most probably order of algorithms on our side has changed, and now we choose one that causes issues (that didn't exist n 1.9.7).
But I will be able to tell more after testing. We got the email, thanks! Will keep you posted.

hmm. Do you get this error always with server you prvided us, or sometimes? I just tried and get 'authentication failed', which means signature error didn't appear - authentication comes after selecting crypto algorithms.

I don't want to "harass" the server too much since I am unsure who the owner is, so we just tried to connect 2 times with invalid password, and got that error withotu signature issue.
