wodFtpDLX.Net: Freeze during connection (wodFtpDLX / wodFtpDLX.NET)

Hi there,
We've been using wodFtpDLX.Net for some years, currently on version 1.8.2.

We found that when trying to connect to a specific server (owned by a client), if authentication did not succeed, the component will lock up when calling the Connect method.

The timeout property (which we had set to 120 seconds) does not appear to take effect.

It only seems to be this specific SFTP server that has this result, and only when the authentication fails for some reason. If the credentials are okay, it connects fine.

Has anybody seen this type of behaviour before? Should we expect it to be any different in the latest version 1.8.3 ?

Hi.

Do you know type of the server? Can we try to connect there to duplicate (and fix) the issue, if needed?

The server looks like it's this: "CerberusFTPServer_7.0"

Hi Daniel,

we were able to duplicate the problem, and I believe it's now fixed. Please request update and try 1.8.4, let me know if it works ok for you too.
