Multicast possible using wodVPN? (wodVPN)

We are building a desktop client application which sometimes requires contact from our remote server. Our customers are spread geographically across the country.

We need a way to multicast/broadcast certain confidential/secured notices from our server to all customer client apps. A client app may sometimes need transmit data for use by our server. There is currently no need for clients to communicate with each other.

Is wodVPN a suitable solution for this need? We have begun looking at the wodVPN documentation. It is not clear how we would direct a multicast packet to the wodVPN component for distribution to clients. We are using a 3rd-party component for this "MCAST" operation. We would prefer to not have to use the wodVPN system driver (to avoid installation confusion).

Again, is wodVPN well suited for this task? If so, what general approach might you recommend? Do you feel your SSH component is required for this task? Are there any details that may jump up and bite us down the road?

Hi.

If I understood correctly, you want to send same data to multiple recipients distributed over globe without looping through each of them?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can easily accomplish it with wodVPN. You would still need to resend message to each wodVPN peer separately in a loop.

If looping of message isn't a problem, then yuo can use wodVPN without adapter, just Send data separately to every connected peer.

Kind regards,
