David,
No. Unfortunately, the Mediator can't be behind a firewall. It needs to be reachable by both peers in order to be able to perform a search.

Damba,
What if both clients know Mediator (VPN) address. Is that possible to connect? I am thinking if client content both Mediator and client, each client post its Mediator address to friend list server. When friend of client download the list will able to know where to contact. []
Thanks

David,
Yes. But both peers still need to be able to reach the same mediator service in order for Search to succeed. If they aren't both able to reach mediator, then Search method will fail with an error, and it peers won't be able to connect.

Damba,
Yes meaning it is possible for mediator locate behind the firewall if clients know the address (IP/PORT)?

David,
Even if you know the IP/Port, the firewall still needs to let the traffic through. In other words, he would either need to be put into DMZ, or the specific port should be open on the firewall.

David,
I can't really say. If yes, then it shouldn't be hard to understand the code.

It was no small factor, however, that your support in getting me up and running made me buy from you.

...what I really like is that wodSSH and wodSFTP components work excellently and are constantly being improved...

I've heard that you are amazing with your replies coming back so quickly - and now I've seen the speed in which you reply first hand.

Don't be fooled by the cost, it's value and quality far exceeds the price being charged!

I really like these products - they are consistently first rate!

Count us as a satisfied WeOnlyDo customer. We appreciate your terrific support to get the secure Telnet working properly.

...with a minimum of effort as the DLL interface was written with such simplicity...

We have recently completed a large 1200+ location project where reliable Telnet and SSH connectivity was required. wodSSH worked flawlessly and allowed our staff to complete our project ontime and within budget.

...wodFtpDlx was exactly what I needed, it worked, and it was priced right...

Thank you for the great customer service ... I am really impressed with the wodSSH ActiveX control.
