Get error 30018 when transfering a file usinf SFTP (wodSFTP / wodSFTP.NET / wodSFTPdll)

When using putfile in SFTP to a Linux system and where the fullpath name contains 400 characters I get an error return code of 30018. When I change the name of the fullpath to 259 characters the transfer works. I then change the fullpath name back to the original name of 400 characters and the transfer then works. Help??
