3. Compatibility with development tools

wodAppUpdate has been tested and works with all major Windows development languages, including:

  • Borland Delphi
  • Borland C++ Builder
  • PowerBuilder 7 and up
  • ASP (to test wodAppUpdate demo version, you must give IIS administrator privileges!)

4. Upgrading from previous version

In most cases, you will only need to replace DLL or OCX with new version. In rare cases, you might need to remove wodAppUpdate from your project, install the upgrade, and then put wodAppUpdate back to your project. This is needed when newer wodAppUpdate contains new properties, and tries to persist them in property bag. Since previous version does not have enough information in it's existing property bag, error may occur.
