UNICODE SUPPORT ??? (wodTelnetDLX)

by Daniel, Tuesday, April 19, 2005, 20:46 (6941 days ago)

I am telneting to a server in Malaysia where some of the characters are in Arabiac. Using Windows Hyperterminal to perform the telnet results in these characters being received as extended ASCII values such as 171 and 168 etc. Although the characters are no longer Arabic, this still works for my application as the original value is retained.

The wodTelnet control replaces these characters with ? and this does not work with my application as the original value is lost!

Are there any settings on the wodTelnet control to allow extended ASCII characters to be received??

I have downloaded the latest version of the control.

Thanks,
Daniel

Daniel,

any chance we could connect there and try it out? If we're to add that support we will need to test it.

If that's possible please send us details at techsupport@weonlydo.com

Frans,

I recall there was one update regarding this issue. Can you request update for current version and try it out?
