Product spotlight - wodSSHServer

SSHServer component implements server side of SSH (and SFTP) protocol, as well as old TELNET protocol. It provides strong encryption of data, and authentication of users over insecure networks, such as Internet. wodSSHServer is an ActiveX component that will give you ability to easily add server capabilities to your application. Using it is really easy: Add it to your form (or create instance on the fly), use internal methods to generate pair of keys for the server (or import existing ones from other SSH servers) and start the server. From that moment, clients will be able to connect to your server, and do the following:

enter chat that you created for them,
start command prompt and execute commands inside (just as they would do it from the console window),
start some program of their choice
use internally provided SFTP (secure ftp) server, or
open port forwarding for other programs

News

Post quantum key exchange agreements have been added
Our SSH and SFTP components now support mlkem768x25519-sha256 post quantum key exchange algorithm as default value when making new connections.

wodKeys.NET now replaces wodKeyManager.NET
We have rewritten support for Generating, Loading and Saving keys in full. wodKeyManager.NET that was native C++ code, based on OpenSSL, is now obsolete and replaced with wodKeys.NET. This applies for .NET components - wodSSH.NET, wodSFTP.NET and wodFtpDLX.NET.
You can still use wodKeyManager.NET if you wish, it is kept here for historic purposes only!

We have switched to OpenSSL3
All our ActiveX and COM components that require cyrptography are using OpenSSL3 instead of OpenSSL 1.0.2 which we used before. We have kept FIPS support, but were able to utilize TLS 1.3 protocol (where applicable) by switching to OpenSSL3. Make sure you update now to get latest version of more secured versions of our components!

WebSockets support in wodWebServer and wodWebServer.NET
wodWebServer ActiveX and .NET now support lightweight and simple WebSockets implementations. Add full duplext HTTP based communication to your applications with few simple lines of code. Just add two events (WebSocketConnect and WebSocketData), and use two new methods (User.WebSocketReceive and User.WebSocketSend) to make it quickly work. Sample app is available in setup package for both components.

TERRAAPIN, FREAK and POODLE vulnerabilities fixed
We have updated all our SSL enabled components with latest OpenSSL 1.0.2 that contains TLS_FALLBACK_SCSV extension, and RSA_EXPORT key attack patch. No further changes are made on the components, but for POODLE you still have to force TLS security through appropriate property.
Please request update to obtain latest version.

Support for Visual Studio 2022
ALl our components are tested and working in Visual Studio 2022. We have integrated new obfuscator and made code tweaks to give you product quality as it was with VS2005 up to VS2019.
If you're using older versions of our components, you should request update to obtain latest version which is fully VS2022 compatible!

Windows 11 compatible
We've updated our installers and components so they are ready and compatible with Windows 11. Administrative privileges are required only during installation (as with most other installers), but you can use Samples and the component as regular user.

Count us as a satisfied WeOnlyDo customer. We appreciate your terrific support to get the secure Telnet working properly.

Thank you very much for the rapid responses. I was a little nervous about dealing with a company that is on a different continent from me. You have proven my concerns to be unfounded.

May I say how nice it is to work with components so complete and self-explanatory that using them in my application is as instinctive as though I wrote them myself?
