The Affiliation Property syntax has these parts:

Part Description
object An expression evaluating to an object of Affiliation XMPPContact.
value A AffiliationsEnum enumeration, as described in settings.

Settings

The settings for value are:

Constant Value Description
 NoAffiliation 0 Contact has no affiliation with the chat room.
 OutcastAffiliation 1 Contact who has been banned from a room and who is not allowed to enter the room.
 MemberAffiliation 2 Provides a way for a room owner or admin to specify a "whitelist" of users who are allowed to enter a members-only room.
 AdminAffiliation 3 Administrator of the chat room.
 OwnerAffiliation 4 Owner of the chat room.

Remarks

Affiliations property holds affiliation details of the contact with the chat room. This property is set up only when contact belongs to collection of contacts in some chat room - otherwise it is not used. Each room can hold different affiliation for the contact.
